VISION STATEMENT

I am a lifelong resident of Anchorage. I grew up here. My home is here. I am raising my family here. My law practice and my businesses are all here in Anchorage. My roots in Anchorage are deep.

Anchorage is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. We need to make our streets and neighborhoods safe. We must provide a quality education for our young people. We must adopt spending policies which are based on a conservative approach to government. We need to build new roads and improve existing trails which enhance the quality of our lives.

My commitment to my District and my home town is that I will work hard, be honest, ethical and straightforward and provide reasoned and thoughtful decision making to the Anchorage Assembly.

I have seen Anchorage grow from a town to under 30,000 to a city of more than 270,000. In my professional career, I have demonstrated a commitment to our City and our State in both my private and public life.

I have devoted time to public service on both state and local issues serving on Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, the Alaska Board of Fisheries, the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Board of Barrier Free Recreation and the Board of the Anchorage Museum.
